The league is better all around this year, the competition is better. There's a lot of people with great talent that we'll see every night. We are the champions and everybody is gunning for us every night - teams are all bringing more intensity.

All the seniors will be competing and they are great leaders. We will miss their riding and their consistency.

The first one is the big one. If you lose the first game, then you have to play four or five games in a row. Not many teams have that kind of pitching, so winning the first game is the biggest task.

The girls have won on the road this year and they're an upset-minded team as they have been in years past. The guys are excited to be (in the playoffs) for the first time in a while so there's no telling what they'll do.

Andrew was really in control from the beginning. I tell our pitchers, the best pitch in baseball is strike one. I haven't had a chance to look, but I think Andrew was 0-1 on a lot of batters in the game.

The hunt seat riders rode extremely well. We had new riders that performed well and there is no doubt that they had the momentum. There were some girls that we were unsure on how they would perform, but they pulled through. It was more of a pleasant reassurance than anything.

I asked Darby if she knew where her children were. She stated yes and directed me to her vehicle. Darby opened the vehicle, which had only one child inside.

I like to run a lot of backs, ... and we've got a lot of kids that are capable of running the football.

I'm disappointed that we started the game so flat. I don't know why we did. We were running uphill all day.
